Edgerton Elementary PTO Mission Statement
To enhance the Edgerton Elementary non-essential learning environment, facilities and opportunities for students, teachers and staff that are not otherwise provided for in the school budget.
This mission is to be carried out through volunteerism and fundraising which promotes a positive school/community relationship, including family engagement, community engagement and school staff support.

Did you know that you can earn money for Edgerton when you use your Smith’s Fresh Values Reward?

All you need to do is enroll in “Inspiring Donations” on the Smith’s app. To do so, sign into your app, under the More menu icon (the three lines in the upper right-hand corner of the app) go to “Rewards”, select “Inspiring Donations” then search for “Edgerton Elementary School” (organization number “VH372”). Once you are enrolled, a percentage of your purchases are donated to Edgerton quarterly!
You’ll need to re-enroll annually, so please double-check your app to ensure Edgerton is selected if you’ve previously enrolled!
Please Join Us!
Our PTO has planned several activities for this year that each focus on at least one component of our three-pronged approach: family engagement, community engagement, and staff support. We have volunteer opportunities to help with these events, and any amount of time you can give is great, whether it’s an hour for this year or an hour for each opportunity we have. We also have donation requests throughout the year for some of these events, which is another great way to help out. Whatever works best for you, we can make it work!

Library Help
Mrs. Schreiner needs assistance in shelving books. Her requested times for assisting are every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:15am to 9am. Please use this link Library Volunteer Sign Up to select a day that works for you!
Smencils
Every Spirit Wear Friday of each month, the PTO will be selling Smencils at lunch. Please use this link Smencils Volunteer Sign Up to view available times and sign up.
Lost & Found
The Lost & Found articles seem to multiply during the school year so please consider volunteering to tidy up the lost & found area … and maybe even find something that belongs to your family! Use this link Lost & Found Tidy Up Sign Up to sign up.
Lunch & Playground Visits
You are welcome to have lunch with your child(ren) or come play with them at recess! To do so, please sign in at the office and receive your visitor badge. If you see any issues at recess, please be sure to contact a playground aid to address it. See lunch and recess times below:

Donations
Throughout the year, we have activities in need of donations, such as the Holiday Angel Tree, Staff Appreciation Week, and the Clothing Shed. We will send out emails on those requests, so please sign up for the PTO emails (see “Please Join Us!” above) and be on the lookout for those if you are interested in helping.
